Have you ever heard the adage, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail?”
Although this is not a direct quote, folks drawing on Mr. Benjamin Franklin’s words are on to something – as was he.
Success is a process. It is not something that merely falls from the sky or springs up from the ground. It takes time and work.
If success is a process and processes include different steps, you need to plan out those steps. Following the logic?
How do you order those steps? Start with the goal, because reaching it will be the success you are seeking. Then, work backward. Once you have each step ordered, change your direction and start moving forward. Start planning what you will do each day, week, and month to reach the first goal, then the second, and so on.
Don’t let a day go by that you don’t work toward that goal – that success. Don’t plan to fail.
